The kennel

Welcome to the french kennel « La demeure d’Argos ». This name comes from Homer’s Iliad and Ulysses’dog, Argos, who waited his master for twenty years and died from joy and happiness when he recognized him.



Eurasians are dogs like Argos : they live for their human family. They are very sensible and sensitive and must live inside the house near their humans.



I have met this breed of dog for a very long time in my family, but I owned my first eurasian, Faust, only since 2010. At first I just wanted a dog. But Faust was so extraordinary that I took home Haïku very quickly. And the desire to breed this exceptionnal dog came.



I owned so Lysis, my first bitch in 2013 and Loreleï in 2014. Because of health diseases, Faust and Haïku didn’t reproduce and I went to Great Britain to have Morphéus in 2016.



At last, I kept one little girl from my third litter, Niobé.



I don’t breed a lot of litters : one maybe two in a year. I’m not only a breeder and I’m working in a school too, so that I can breed the way I want without thinking always to money.



I’m testing my males and females for hips, patella, eyes, thyroid, Dandy Walker, and they pass a comportemental test too. They are DNA identified. I show them to dog shows in France and in stranger countries too.



I do not want to make litters with a lot of consanguinity because I’m not sure that it is positive for the breeding.
